All White is All Right
Ingredients
- 2 Slices of the softest White Bread (no crusts allowed!)
- 2 Fluffy Egg Whites (whisked to perfection)
- 2 Slices of Creamy White American Cheese
- A pat of Grade-A Salted Butter (keep it pale!)
Preparation
- The Foundation: Take two slices of fresh white bread and carefully trim away the crusts using a sharp knife.
- The Clouds: In a small non-stick skillet, melt a tiny bit of butter over low heat. We don't want any browning! Pour in your egg whites and cook gently until set and snowy white.
- The Melt: Fold your egg whites into a neat square and top with the white American cheese. Cover the pan for 30 seconds until the cheese is just beginning to drape over the sides.
- The Assembly: Slide your cheesy egg onto the first slice of bread and crown it with the second.
Serve immediately with a cold glass of milk for that monochromatic marvel!
